Week 41 – Becky

WOW I am so behind with my weekly photos.  Anyway I was monitoring the Chryalis (week 40 post) in hopes of catching the butterfly emerging.  I checked on it for 3 weeks.  Went to do something else for 15 minutes and the butterfly emerged with out me 😦

So I ended getting a photo of this frog on the bark.  Applied Topaz Adjust to make it tiny bit more interesting.  Shot with IPhone 6.

Week 33 – Robin

Frog on a Pineapple Leaf

Another frog! I set out to get butterflies, but they wouldn’t cooperate! No shortage of frogs. He was on a pineapple leaf and I liked the effect of the sunlit exposure and shallow DOF.

Canon 6D and 100mm f/2.8L Macro IS lens. Settings were 1/400 sec; f/2.8; ISO 100.

Week 18 – Robin

NewbornFrogWe have a small container of duckweed that we use to feed the fish. Recently tiny baby frogs started showing up and I couldn’t resist taking some shots. He’s less than an inch long and wears the duckweed on his little head. 🙂

Used Canon 6D and 100mm f/2.8L Macro IS. Settings were 1/100s, f/7.1,ISO 400.

Week 8 – Judy

Week 8

Frogs in Space! :0

When I first downloaded this photo, I thought it looked like the frog was flying thru space. Actually, he’s in our pool. I’m frequently rescuing frogs out of the pool. I don’t understand how they can get into the pool, but can’t seem to get out of the pool?

My settings were ISO 100, f/5.6, 1/200 sec and 300mm (70-300mm). Applied some cropping and Topaz Adjust’s Pop Photo filter.
