Hanky Panky or Get a Room! or Do you mind?

So many titles to choose from.  Roaming around the yard of the house we are renovating when I stumbled upon these two little love birds. This is a photo of two air potato beetles getting it on.  At one point the bottom one looked like it was trying to knock the top one off.  Processed this photo in Lightroom.  First time using Lightroom to tweak my photos.  Opened it up in Photoshop to sharpen it some more.  Used my Olymput TG-4 on microscope mode.  The settings were iso500, 18mm, f4.9 and 1/400sec.

BBeetle
Another ugly bug for your enjoyment! 🙂 I wasn’t able to ID it. It looks a little like a rhinoceros beetle, but it was only 1/2 inch long. He was sitting on a piece of screen and you can see his legs poking through it.

Used the Olympus TG-4 on microscope mode. Settings were automatic. 1/320s, f/4.9, ISO 800. Desaturated part of the photo to give it a more uniform look.

Ta Daaaaa!!!!

That is what came to mind when I saw this beetle chopping on the this plant with his one leg hanging out.  Have no idea what type of beetle this is.  Was playing around with my ring light for my Olympus TG4.  I have had it for awhile and never really played with it.  Seems to have worked out okay.  Cropped, denoised, sharpened and boost the contrast.  My settings were f4.9, 1/200sec, iso800 18mm, microscope mode.
